It’s natural for Mango to take a stab at ‘Nella mia citta’ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. There is no doubt that Mango has talent. This is one of the best Cd’s Mango has dropped to date. This is what good Folk should be.
This is one hell of a track. Terra bianca is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Ma com’e rossa la ciliegia is a very catchy tune. In Tu….sh the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Some of the arrangements found on Sirtaki are surprisingly edgy. From the moment you listen to Come Monna Lisa you’re hooked. Preludio incantevole is the albums biggest surprise. Excellent vocals and musical performances. L’io without a doubt is the standout song of Sirtaki. Once you hear Ma che musica c’i, you will listen to it over and over. You have to get essence of the Nella mia citta’’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
