It has been thirteen years Man Or Astro-Man?’ last studio CD, “Destroy All Astromen!” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. For older fans Destroy All Astromen! will put a massive smile accross your face. Destroy All Astromen! is the best essence of Man Or Astro-Man?.
02 - Name Of Numbers - a classic song. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Destroy All Astromen!. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Destroy All Astromen!. 06 - Joker’s Wild is Man Or Astro-Man?’s best work in years. Music in 07 - Intoxica is exquisite as in all tracks of Destroy All Astromen!. 08 - Mystery Meat is a fine track on any terms. 09 - The Heavies (Let’s Surf The River Of Blood) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. I was truly moved when I heard 10 - Madness In The Streets. 11 - Espanto Del Futuro still maintains something of a specific flourish. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: 12 - Mystery Science Theater 3000 Love Theme, which shows, blatantly, how much Man Or Astro-Man? has evolved as a singer. Strong, powerful vocals of Man Or Astro-Man? in 13 - Landlocked are very impressive. 14 - Bombora - For me, this is the best of the album. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. One listen to the sheer beauty of 16 - You Can’t Get Good Riblets In Space was all I needed. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. I hope to keep hearing Man Or Astro-Man? works for a long time to come. 19 - The Vortex Beyond - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. 21 - Time Bomb is pretty funky and mellow.
