It has been four years M-People’ last studio CD, “Bizarre Fruit” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. There is so much to love about M-People, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Self-described as Pop with lots of words, M-People comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Exciting stuff.
Drive Time is nothing but pure genius. Listening to Love Rendezvous you can hear that M-People has still amazing chemistry with band members. Open Your Heart stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Precious Pearl is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. I like the idea behind Search For The Hero. No M-People song has come close to capturing my attention as Sight For Sore Eyes did. Sugar Town - arguably the best track on Bizarre Fruit album. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
