This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Lou Reed. I am not a real Rock: Hard-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Wild Child: Best’ really is amazing. This album has some very good songs like Vicious and Satellite Of Love. Such great and happy songs.
You have to get essence of the Satellite Of Love’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. I can’t stop playing Wild Child. Walk On The Wild Side is probably the highlight of the album. Opening track Perfect Day shows the best of Lou Reed. Blew our minds when we first heard New York Telephone Conversation. When listening to White Light / White Heat, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. How Do You Think It Feels (3:43) a good melody. Oh Jim is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Sad Song is pretty funky and mellow. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Metal Machine Music is the more seemingly obscure song on Wild Child: Best that bear up best to repeated listening. Berlin - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I believe Sally Can’t Dance is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. No Lou Reed song has come close to capturing my attention as I Love You Suzanne did. So much energy, so exciting a sound. In Legendary Hearts full palet of sound is used by Lou Reed to accentuate the presentation. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing.
