I am not a real Latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Pero No Me Dejes’ really is amazing. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Los Yonic’s energies, virtually a rebirth. Since completing 1994’s ‘TITERE’, Los Yonic’s fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is what good Latin should be.
SI TU QUISIERAS is probably the most interesting track on Pero No Me Dejes. LA POCHITA great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.SIMPLE AVENTURA is outstanding work of Los Yonic’s. TE VAS A CASAR is just simply stunning. ALEJATE is another strong production from Los Yonic’s. Los Yonic’s allows each song to breathe and flourish. Opening track HE NACIDO PARA TI shows the best of Los Yonic’s. In HERIDO DE MUERTE Los Yonic’s is at his best. PERO NO ME DEJES is a excellent sing-along.
