Listening to SIN FRONTERAS you can hear that Los Tigres del Norte has still amazing chemistry with band members. Some of the arrangements found on Gracias America Sin Fronteras are surprisingly edgy. FLORES DE MI PAIS is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. PASO A PASO is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. EL DORADO is a striking and quite long song. Album opener LOS HIJOS DE HERNANDEZ is a bright, upbeat ditty. Overall a nice softer song. AY, AY, HAY… is simple, dignified and effective, Los Tigres del Norte refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. EL MACHO Y EL HOMBRE is a bit of a show-tune. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think AMIGO QUERIDO is my favorite song on Gracias America Sin Fronteras. MI DISTRITO FEDERAL - Los Tigres del Norte first major hit.
