Laraaji and Roger Eno’s debut, ‘Islands’, does not fit easily into one genre. two years ago, Laraaji and Roger Eno briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Laraaji - Zaragoza 2″. Since Laraaji and Roger Eno last CD (Islands) on Columbia Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is what good Ambient should be.
Album opener Laraaji - Zaragoza 2 is a bright, upbeat ditty. Laraaji - Radiance marked the continuation of Laraaji and Roger Eno in style evolution. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
