It has been eleven years Kodo’ last studio CD, “The Hunted - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Kodo. This album has some very good songs like The Honied Maim Thfme and Kirina S Theme Bamboo Flute Version. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Get The Hunted - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and turn on Kirina S Theme Bamboo Flute Version if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Intruder is the albums biggest surprise. In Love Affair [Papa S Palm Wine] Kodo is at his best. Ponishment Of Betrayal pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. The sound in Matsuri [Irodori] is really warm and Kodo’s signature voice is still very much present. Music in Darkness is gorgeous as in all tracks of The Hunted - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. After you’ve listened to Irritation, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Oshima S Theme [Tsuki-Mo-Sei] to me is the best you can get from Kodo. Run! has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Remembering Kirima 1 which is my favorite is a truly Kodo sounding song. The Bat1le is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Opening track Remembering Kirima 2 shows the best of Kodo. Album opener The Hunted Ending Theme is a bright, upbeat ditty.
