There is no doubt that Kit Watkins has talent. Kit Watkins was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Kit Watkins and Holographic Tapestries together. Holographic Tapestries isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Holographic Tapestries touched my soul like nothing else.
Locale Prime is the albums biggest surprise. Untitled great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.When I listen to Elephants And Ants in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Lost Cave as a highlight of Holographic Tapestries contains a ton of gorgeous melodies. Hills is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Kit Watkins ever produced. Kit Watkins is hitting on all cylinders in Pads. Once The Traveler gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. The sound in More Amour is really warm and Kit Watkins’s signature voice is still very much present. Shock Values - I just love it. Anyday (3:03) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! In Fortitude the music gets its power. So much energy, so exciting a sound.It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Millennia is a fine track on any terms. The Warming is gorgeous song though, very addictive. New World is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
