Since Jorge REYES last CD (Prehispanic Mistic Rites) on ForeFront Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Jorge REYES’s album Prehispanic Mistic Rites falls to No. 2 with 176,000, a sales slide of 51%. This album has some very good songs like Invocation and El Hechicero De La Dicha Tranquila. I Love Prehispanic Mistic Rites from start to finish!
El Hechicero De La Dicha Tranquila has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Jorge REYES’s strong vocals come to the fore. Donde Nadie Lamenta Lo Que Somos - To me, this is the best song on the Prehispanic Mistic Rites. A fantastic track full of wonder. I can’t stop playing Nadie Supo De Donde Venia. El Arrullo De La Mujer Luna is one of the best records ever. The Flayed God is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Ver Cosas Nunca Oidas - a classic song.
