On the Luxembourg charts, superstar Johnny Dyer featuring Rick Hol’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. There were many famous songs of Johnny Dyer featuring Rick Hol available. This album has some very good songs like BIg Leg Woman and Can’t You See?. I wish that “Shake It!” album was instrumental.
Can’t You See? is beautiful, yet underrated track. I like Come Back Home because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Once you hear Crazy About That Thing, you will listen to it over and over. I have all of Johnny Dyer featuring Rick Hol’s tracks and Don’t Have Much Time is probably the most his introspective effort. Hey Little Girl - A nice song. Holmes Hop - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I’m Booked is a good listen every once in a while. If You Please the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Little Dog one of the best in my collection. I love the melodic melody of North of Montana and to this day it makes me feel good. In Nothing but The Blues the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Simple and heartfelt closing track Shake It! closes Shake It! on a high note. Tacos de Pescado is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. After you’ve listened to What’s On Your Mind?, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate.
