While no new John Kerr album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in Australia. Forbidden isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since John Kerr last CD (Forbidden) on Sparrow Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Unappreciated gift to Electronic
Get Forbidden and turn on Just Close Your Eyes… if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Best song on the album, love it. I like to sing along with Skin Attack, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. You have to get essence of the Barbarian Rhapsody’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Slavonika is perfect. Refugee - another great track from the Forbidden album. Once you hear Lost Souls, you will listen to it over and over. John Kerr has astounded me with this amazing track. I was truly moved when I heard A Dreamer’s Dream. Overall a nice softer song. John Kerr offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. ‘onest We Ain’t gets you up and jumping. A Dreamer’s Dream (Instrumental Version) makes a person feel excellent.
