This album has some very good songs like In Praise Of Innocence and Like A Moth To The Flame. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by John Kerr. On Castles Th The Sky album, John Kerr have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Like A Moth To The Flame
Like A Moth To The Flame is one of the best records ever. Now Or Never has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Album opener In and Out Of Clouds is a bright, upbeat ditty. Piece Of Mind is a great opener for Castles Th The Sky. As Ships In The Night is probably the highlight of the album. A New Day’s Dawning is really the reason why I recommend buying Castles Th The Sky. From Kingdom Come is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Castles Th The Sky have ended. The sound in You and Me is really warm and John Kerr’s signature voice is still very much present. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. No John Kerr song has come close to capturing my attention as Castles did. Love You good vocals.
