When you buy a Joao Gilberto album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There were many famous songs of Joao Gilberto available. This is one of the best Cd’s Joao Gilberto has dropped to date. I wish that “Ela E’ Carioca” album was instrumental.
Ela e’ Carioca is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. When I listen to O Sapo in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Esperanza Perdida is the albums biggest surprise. Joao Marcelo - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Astronauta I just LOVE this mix! One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Acapulco. The opening track Besame Mucho is very much like you would expect from other albums. Eclipse have really caught my ear and imagination. Trolley Song is a perfect sing-along.
