For older fans From Every Stage will put a massive smile accross your face. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘From Every Stage’ really is amazing. This disc has all of the essential Joan Baez classics. Another great offering from Joan Baez.
I like The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Joan Baez sings his heart out in Lily, Rosemary And the Jack Of Hearts. No Joan Baez song has come close to capturing my attention as Please Come to Boston did. Swing Low, Sweet chariot sets the tone for the entire album. All of songs on From Every Stage and have something to say letting alone Oh, Happy Day. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Forever Young - I like this one. I believe diamonds And Rust is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. Joe Hill is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. the Ballad Of Sacco & Vanzetti is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Natalia - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. I Shall Be Released is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
