six years ago, Jim Kirkwood briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Where Shadows Lie, Pt.2″. Lead single “Where Shadows Lie, Pt.1″ and “Where Shadows Lie, Pt.2″ start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since Jim Kirkwood last CD (Middle Earth Cd1) on EMI Records back in 1990, I have felt a massive void in my life. Jim Kirkwood is one of my favourite bands of all time.
No Jim Kirkwood song has come close to capturing my attention as Where Shadows Lie, Pt.2 did. King Of The Golden Hall, Pt.1 is so unique, as each one of the songs is.
