After seeing Countdown, I had to have a good Jean Michel Jarre cd. It’s natural for Jean Michel Jarre to take a stab at ‘Countdown’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Jean Michel Jarre energies, virtually a rebirth. Exciting stuff.
Chronologie 1 is worth the money. In Equinoxe 4 full palet of sound is used by Jean Michel Jarre to accentuate the presentation. Intro is astounding. Chronologie 2 - This is a very lively song. Chronologie 3 is a cool sing-along. Jean Michel Jarre has astounded me with this amazing track. I came to like Chronologie 4. Chronologie 5 - This one makes me want to not only sing along. You can find feelings on this piece of art. A fantastic track full of wonder. Excellent vocals and musical performances. What sets Magnetic Fields 2 apart is Jean Michel Jarre’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Chronologie 8 marked the continuation of Jean Michel Jarre in style evolution. L’orchestre Sous La Pluie (Ver (3:28) a good melody. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Rendez-Vous 4 is probably the most interesting track on E.I.C. Live At Barcellona. Once you hear Rendez-Vous 2, you will listen to it over and over. Chronologie 4 (Encore) is really the reason why I recommend buying E.I.C. Live At Barcellona.
