Mojo Boogie - another great track from the Vietnam Blues album. God’s Word - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Move This Rope - This one makes me want to not only sing along. I Feel So Good is another strong production from J.B. Lenoir. Overall a nice softer song. Talk To Your Daughter is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Mississippi Road is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Good Advice is nothing but pure genius. J.B. Lenoir is one of artists that allow his songs like Vietnam to stand on their own and be heard. I Want To Go is a very catchy tune. In Down In Mississippi the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Vietnam Blues. If I Get Lucky is J.B. Lenoir’s best work in years. Shot On James Meredith is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Round and Round on Vietnam Blues is solid and easy to listen to. Voodoo Music is excellent and different song. Born Dead is astounding. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Vietnam Blues motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. How Much More as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Tax Payin’ Blues is a song to enjoy for years to come. First time I heard Feelin’ Good was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
