This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Jane Birkin. I am not a real Latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Jane B., Vol. 1′ really is amazing. After seeing Exercice en Forme de Z, I had to have a good Jane Birkin cd. IT makes me wanna dance!
This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. From the moment you listen to Baby Lou you’re hooked. Baby Alone in Babylone which is my favorite is a truly Jane Birkin sounding song. Once Dessous Chics gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Quoi gives taste of what makes Jane Birkin special as a musician. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Lost Song - For me, this is the best of the album. Et Quand Bien M has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Jane B. presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Jane B., Vol. 1. Amours des Feintes is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Je T’Aime Moi Non Plus is Jane Birkin’s best work in years. Listening to Di Doo Dah you can hear that Jane Birkin has still amazing chemistry with band members. Decadanse is another strong production from Jane Birkin. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. The first time I listened to Si Peut Te Consoler I was struck by its cool sound. Ballade de Johnny-Jane is the albums biggest surprise. Yesterday Yes a Day makes a person feel astounding. Ex-Fan des Sixties - A catchy, upbeat tune.
