Lead single “Die Hochzeit Des Figaro” and “Andante” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. While no new James Last album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in South America. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by James Last. IT makes me wanna dance!
I listened to the opening track Andante and liked it a lot. All of songs on My Favourites and have something to say letting alone Praludium Viii. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. A great put together song. Der Fruhling is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Strong, powerful vocals of James Last in Maracaibo are very impressive. Molto Allegro without a doubt is the standout song of My Favourites. This song stands out greatly from the others. Lazy afternoon which is my favorite is a truly James Last sounding song. James Last breathes new life into the music in Romeo und Julia. Distant Love is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Fantasie Nr. 1 (4:20) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Amigos para siempre is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Quartett make listening to James Last like being in some sort of time warp. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on My Favourites.
