It’s natural for James Last and Richard Clayderman to take a stab at ‘I Will Always Love You’ considering her long-professed love for Madonna. James Last and Richard Clayderman’s debut, ‘In Harmony’, does not fit easily into one genre. It has been twelve years James Last and Richard Clayderman’ last studio CD, “In Harmony” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Such great and happy songs.
Streets Of Philadelphia without a doubt is the standout song of In Harmony. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Lyrics of Capriccio Romantico (Theme From The South Bank Show) are precise and evocative. A fantastic track full of wonder. Everytime You Go Away is the cool blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Strangers In Paradise rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Goodnight Girl - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Simple and heartfelt closing track A Legend Of Greensleeves closes In Harmony on a high note. When A Man Loves A Woman is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Still going through In Harmony and coming to appreciate True Love more and more with every listen. Nocturho (And This Is My Beloved) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. There is gorgeous mix of music in Another Day In Paradise. Andantino Somplice is worth the money. This track is full of harmonies and gets In Harmony off to a relaxing start. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
