There is so much to love about J. D. Blackfoot, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It has been fifteen years J. D. Blackfoot’ last studio CD, “The Song Of Crazy Horse” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by J. D. Blackfoot. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
One listen to the sheer beauty of I’ve Been Waitin’ was all I needed. Miss Sally is the albums biggest surprise. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Song Of Crazy Horse. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Almost Another Day because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Hey Johnny D.J. full palet of sound is used by J. D. Blackfoot to accentuate the presentation. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Flushed You From The Toilets Of My Heart from the beginning to the end. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor.
