On the Portugal charts, superstar It Is I’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Evolve isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It Is I was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from It Is I and Evolve together. I Love Evolve from start to finish!
After you’ve listened to Evolve, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Following the Twisted Dream stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Burn which is my favorite is a truly It Is I sounding song. World of Suffering is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Total Eclipse is a medium tempo tune. Purge is absolutely incredible. Strong, powerful vocals of It Is I in Introstatica are very impressive.
