Isao Tomita was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Isao Tomita and Storm From The East together. Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Isao Tomita comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is so much to love about Isao Tomita, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is what good Electronic should be.
This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Storm From The East. Legend Of Saviour is another favourite of mine. You can find feelings on this piece of art. King Prester John-An Abyssinian Eidolon is a medium tempo tune. The opening track Memories Of Pale Earth is very much like you would expect from other albums. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Ethereal View is probably the most interesting track on Storm From The East. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Winds Of Great Plains from the beginning to the end. You have to get essence of the Requiem Of Plains’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Mongolian Fantasy 2 Flash Of Shining Glory is exquisite and different song. Messenger From Inferno is astounding. The first time I listened to Theme Of Akhai I was struck by its astounding sound. The song Mongolian Fantasy 3 Land Of Great Khan ending is my favorite… so catchy! Ending Theme as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
