It’s natural for Isaac Hayes to take a stab at ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’ considering her long-professed love for Babylon Zoo. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Isaac Hayes energies, virtually a rebirth. Black Moses is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This album is a scorcher!
I now have (They Long To Be) Close To You as one of my personal favorites. This track is full of harmonies and gets Black Moses off to a relaxing start. Man’s Temptation motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Part-Time Love. Medley: Ike’s Rap IV/A Brand New Me has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Isaac Hayes’s strong vocals come to the fore. Going In Circles is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Never Gonna Give You Up had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Medley: Ike’s Rap II/Help Me Love is outstanding work of Isaac Hayes. I can’t stop humming along Need To Belong To Someone. Good Love - A classic Isaac Hayes track. Once Medley: Ike’s Rap III/Your Love Is So Doggone Good gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. It took me a little time but I ended up loving For The Good Times. I like the idea behind I’ll Never Fall In Love Again.
