Ivan Grach has compared writing for Inspiral Carpets’s new album to that on ‘Life’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Inspiral Carpets’s album Life falls to No. 2 with 469,000, a sales slide of 79%. After seeing Real Thing, I had to have a good Inspiral Carpets cd. IT makes me wanna dance!
Song For A Family is absolutely incredible. You can find feelings on this piece of art. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Directing Traffik, which shows, blatantly, how much Inspiral Carpets has evolved as a singer. The song feels complete. Many Happy Returns stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. The sound of Memories Of You is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. She Comes In The Fall - Inspiral Carpets first major hit. This song stands out greatly from the others. Sun Don’t Shine - I just love it. Inside My Head is probably one of Inspiral Carpets’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This track is clearly meant to showcase Inspiral Carpets’s vocal abilities. Sackville - My least favorite song on this album.
