My World isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Ice Mc. Self-described as Dance with lots of words, Ice Mc comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Ice Mc “My World” is an amazing album.
This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on My World. After few listenings I started to like Rainy Days more and more. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Italiano Ragga pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. People (dub reprise) still maintains something of a specific flourish. Don’t Forget Me is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Baby is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Ice Mc ever produced. I’ve found myself listening to Funkin’ With You back to back and back many times. Blew our minds when we first heard I Love You. Still going through My World and coming to appreciate I Go Crazy more and more with every listen.
