Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Ice Cube on ‘Better Off Dead’. Now signed to Ice Cube’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted” leads Ice Cube’s back-to-school campaign. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Ice Cube’s album AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted falls to No. 2 with 811,000, a sales slide of 58%. This is my first Ice Cube Album and i must say i am blown away.
The Nigga Ya Love To Hate - a classic song. Amerikkka’s Most Wanted actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Ice Cube’s face. What They Hittin’ Foe is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. You Can’t Fade Me - This one is lively and fun. Once Upon A Time In The Projects - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Turn Off The Radio is probably the most interesting track on AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted. Endangered Species (Tales From The Darkside; feat. Chuck D) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Ice Cube released so far. A Gangsta’s Fairytale without a doubt is the standout song of AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted. You have to get essence of the I’m Only Out For One Thang (feat. Flavor Flav)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Vocals of Ice Cube in Get Off My Dick and Tell Yo Bitch To Come Here really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. The Drive-By is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Rollin’ Wit The Lench Mob as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Who’s The Mack stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. It’s A Man’s World (feat. Yo-Yo) hits the heart. The Bomb - Ice Cube first major hit.
