I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘60 Horses in My Herd: Old Songs and Tunes of Tuva’ really is amazing. 60 Horses in My Herd: Old Songs and Tunes of Tuva carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It’s natural for Huun-Huur-Tu to take a stab at ‘Sygyt: Lament Of The Igil’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. IT makes me wanna dance!
Mezhegei - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. It’s Hard To Be Parted From A Friend (6:32) - awsome. Kombu as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Best song on the album, love it. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. I now have Fantasy On The Igil as one of my personal favorites. Bayan Dugai is a great opener for 60 Horses in My Herd: Old Songs and Tunes of Tuva. As always, Huun-Huur-Tu’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. There is excellent mix of music in Song Of The Caravan Drivers.
