Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Henry Mancini’s new album to that on ‘Tom And Jerry The Movie’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Tom And Jerry The Movie isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Henry Mancini on ‘All In How Much We Give’. This album is a scorcher!
The opening track Friends To The End is very much like you would expect from other albums. What Do We Care (The Alley Cats’ Song) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Tom And Jerry The Movie. God’s Little Creatures - A nice song. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. I Miss You (Robyn’s Song) - Okay, I just talked about depth. I can’t stop playing I’ve Done It All. Tom And Jerry Theme one of the best in my collection. This track is a great song that still never gets old. We Meet Robyn sets the tone for the entire album. Food Fight Polka is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Meet Dr. Applecheek is amazing and different song. Henry Mancini must have run out of lyrics on the next track Chase. So much energy, so exciting a sound.I believe Finale — Friends To The End is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. Tom And Jerry Theme [] is another favourite of mine.
