There is so much to love about Hed Planet Earth, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. ‘Church Of Realities’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Since completing 1995’s ‘Intro’, Hed Planet Earth fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Intro and 1st Song is really good.
1st Song on Church Of Realities is solid and easy to listen to. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Hangman because the melody in the chorus is so good. A fantastic track full of wonder. A unique and uplifting song. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Hed Planet Earth. I like to sing along with Spam, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Hill defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. 9 as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
