Since completing 1991’s ‘Giramondu’, Hector Zazou fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Hector Zazou was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Hector Zazou and Les Nouvelles Polyphonies Corses together. Hector Zazou’s debut, ‘Les Nouvelles Polyphonies Corses’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album is in perfect progression from Hector Zazou!
Eramu In Campu still maintains something of a specific flourish. Onda - This one is lively and fun. This song may be the most meaningful. I like the idea behind Chi Lu Tempu. You can find feelings on this piece of art. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Nanna is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Anima was the first single release from the album Les Nouvelles Polyphonies Corses. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. I believe Veni is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. There is amazing mix of music in Lettera A’mamma. Bambinellu is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. In La Plazza - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Hector Zazou. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Serinatu. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Les Nouvelles Polyphonies Corses. I like Notte because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
