It has been sixteen years Hector Zazou’ last studio CD, “Guilty” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lead single “Guilty” and “No Secret” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Hector Zazou’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Guilty” leads Hector Zazou’s back-to-school campaign. This album is awesome.
All of songs on Guilty and have something to say letting alone No Secret. Binagwe is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Hector Zazou must have run out of lyrics on the next track Ba Wela. Overall a nice softer song. My Shoes marked the continuation of Hector Zazou in style evolution. Sans Music is really the reason why I recommend buying Guilty. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with It’s A Man’a Man’s World. Voice and instruments in Zuwa complement each other. Na Kenda (5:35) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
