Since Hariprasad Chaurasia last CD (Music of The Rivers) on ForeFront Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the first studio album from Hariprasad Chaurasia since bad diagnosis in 1993. fourteen years ago, Hariprasad Chaurasia briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Song of the River”. This is my first Hariprasad Chaurasia Album and i must say i am blown away.
The song feels complete. Delta - Journey to the Sea is pretty funky and mellow.
