Warpaint carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Warpaint isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s natural for Happy Rhodes to take a stab at ‘Waking Up’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Warpaint.
Feed The Fire sets the tone for the entire album. Happy Rhodes rocks harder than ever with Murder. To Live In Your World one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Voice and instruments in Phobos complement each other. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Terra Incognita pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Happy Rhodes emotions are reflected through All Things (Mia Ia Io). Words Weren’t Made For Cowards - another great track from the Warpaint album. When listening to Warpaint, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Strong, powerful vocals of Happy Rhodes in In Hiding are very impressive.
