Progressive isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. one years ago, Haggard briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Mind Mutilation”. Lead single “Charity Absurd” and “Mind Mutilation” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. To me Haggard is the best band ever.
Mind Mutilation - arguably the best track on Progressive album. Incapsuled is a marvelous sing-along. Overall a nice softer song. Daddy Was Her First Man is beautiful, yet underrated track.
