This album has some very good songs like Dr.Jones & The King Of Rhythm and Shoueshine Johnny. Miracle Mile isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s natural for Guardian to take a stab at ‘Dr.Jones & The King Of Rhythm’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. Overall, I would highly recommend Miracle Mile CD.
Shoueshine Johnny - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Long Way Home is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Nice and different song. I believe Sweet Mystery is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. Let It Roll - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Mr.Wrong is a very catchy tune. The sound in Curiosity Killed The Cat is really warm and Guardian’s signature voice is still very much present. Sister Wisdom - Okay, I just talked about depth. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Once Do You Know What Love Is gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
