Green Day had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Green Day’s debut, ‘1039-Smoothed Out Slappy Hours’, does not fit easily into one genre. It has been twelve years Green Day’ last studio CD, “1039-Smoothed Out Slappy Hours” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. One of Green Day’s best albums yet.
I now have Don’t Leave Me as one of my personal favorites. I Was There is Green Day’s best work in years. Disappearing Boy is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Going to Pasalacqua - This one makes me want to not only sing along. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Road to Acceptance is a fine track on any terms. Rest has a fun tempo. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in 1039-Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. Once Paper Lanterns gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. There is gorgeous mix of music in Why Do You Want Him-. I came to like 409-In Your Coffee Maker. Knowledge - To me, this is the best song on the 1039-Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. 1000 Hours - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Dry Ice is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Only of You is the funkiest number on the album. The One I Want is perfect. I Want to be Alone - Okay, I just talked about depth.
