‘Psycho City’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is no doubt that Great White has talent. Great White was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Great White and Psycho City together. Psycho City constantly brilliant.
There is marvelous mix of music in Step On You. Vocals of Great White in Old Rose Motel really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Maybe Someday is a very catchy tune. What sets Big Goodbye apart is Great White’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I believe Doctor Me is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. I Want You is really the reason why I recommend buying Psycho City. Never Trust A Pretty Face - I just love it. If you are a Great White fan, you will love Love Is A Lie. Get On Home is probably the highlight of the album. Wasted Rock Ranger is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Great White ever produced. Only one song from Psycho City named Somebody To Love really got me. Who’s Driving Your Plane is a exquisite song and it grows on you. When listening to Livin’ On Rock ‘n’ Roll, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable.
