On Passion and Grace album, Govi have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Govi energies, virtually a rebirth. On the Ireland charts, superstar Govi’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Another great offering from Govi.
Govi sings Abundance in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. When I listen to Embrace in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Tears Of Joy is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Passion and Grace. Kea Lani is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Passion and Grace have ended. The song feels complete. Viva La Vida is probably the most interesting track on Passion and Grace. After few listenings I started to like Sailing Away more and more.
