Since Glass, Philip last CD (Anima Mundi) on Savoy Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of the best Cd’s Glass, Philip has dropped to date. This disc has all of the essential Glass, Philip classics. To me Glass, Philip is the best band ever.
The Ark is a astounding sing-along. I’ve found myself listening to The Garden back to back and back many times. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: The Beginning, which shows, blatantly, how much Glass, Philip has evolved as a singer. Living Waters can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Glass, Philip is all about. In Perpetual Motion the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
