Gilbert O’Sullivan breathes new life into the music in When To Today. You have to get essence of the Shy’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. That’s Why I Love You - A nice song. My Advice To You is a bit different from Gilbert O’Sullivan stereotypical stuff. Hold On To What You Got have really caught my ear and imagination. Came To See Me Yesterday is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Mr And Mrs Regards is nothing but pure genius. It Ain’t For Me is a bit of a show-tune. I Don’t Mind - another great track from the By Larry album. Strong, powerful vocals of Gilbert O’Sullivan in As A Rule are very impressive. This track is clearly meant to showcase Gilbert O’Sullivan’s vocal abilities. Because Of You - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Gilbert O’Sullivan. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think The Window Cleaner’s Mate is my favorite song on By Larry. Gilbert O’Sullivan is hitting on all cylinders in What Am I Doing Here With You (Bonus Track). Gilbert O’Sullivan sings his heart out in What You See Is What You Get (Bonus Track).
