Since Gas last CD (Gas) on SixSteps records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 1995’s ‘Generator 0000′, Gas fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. Now signed to Gas’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Gas” leads Gas’s back-to-school campaign. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Experiments On Live Electricit
Experiments On Live Electricit is excellent song though, very addictive. Microscopic is astounding. This track is clearly meant to showcase Gas’s vocal abilities. From the moment you listen to Vapourware you’re hooked. Seocl2 is a perfect, simple song by Gas at the top of his game. Don’t judge Earthshake on the first listening. Mathematics And Electronics is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Timestretch - Earthloop marked the continuation of Gas in style evolution. F - H2teo3 is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Discovery is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. After about the third Generator 0072 listen through, I began to believe this song is Gas’s essence.
