Lead single “Moving On” and “Oh Pretty Woman” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Gary Moore’s debut, ‘Still Got The Blues’, does not fit easily into one genre. Jim Jones has compared writing for Gary Moore’s new album to that on ‘Still Got The Blues’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Still Got The Blues is not something you should pass up.
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Walking By Myself is Gary Moore’s best work in years. Still Got The Blues to me is the best you can get from Gary Moore. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Too Tired is the funkiest number on the album. King Of The Blues is a very catchy tune. As The Years Go Passing By - Check out that bassline! Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. I like the idea behind That Kind Of Woman. All Your Love is really the reason why I recommend buying Still Got The Blues. Stop Messin’ Around is a great opener for Still Got The Blues.
