I am not a real Latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mina D’Agua Do Meu Canto’ really is amazing. Now signed to Gal Costa’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Mina D’Agua Do Meu Canto” leads Gal Costa’s back-to-school campaign. After seeing Odara, I had to have a good Gal Costa cd. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Atrda Porta is astounding. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Musically Como Um Samba de Adeus is superior to other tracks in Mina D’Agua Do Meu Canto. Caju is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. After you’ve listened to Milagres Do Povo, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Mina D’Agua Do Meu Canto couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track O Ci. I believe O Quereres is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. This song stands out greatly from the others. Music of Quem Te Viu, Quem Te V is gentle, never overbearing. Futuros Amantes (4:04) a good melody. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. When I listen to Lindeza in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Desalento is simply gorgeous. Gal Costa allows each song to breathe and flourish. Lingua is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
