It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Friedemann energies, virtually a rebirth. Friedemann was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Friedemann and Legends of Light together. I am not a real Easy Listening music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Legends of Light’ really is amazing. I Love Legends of Light from start to finish!
Mount Belenos as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. In Joy of Beltane full palet of sound is used by Friedemann to accentuate the presentation. A great put together song. Spring Has Come to Wiesental - To me, this is the best song on the Legends of Light. Sunday in Alsace is the most memorable and marvelous. Memories of Lugnasad is the albums biggest surprise. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Black Cherries - White Wine is my favorite song on Legends of Light. Lament of the White Goddess as a highlight of Legends of Light contains a ton of cool melodies. The Sun at Midnight to me is the best you can get from Friedemann.
