There is so much to love about Folk - Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Thunder Perfect Mind’ really is amazing. Folk - Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Folk - Various Artists and Thunder Perfect Mind together. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Hitler as Kalki (SDM)
Hitler as Kalki (SDM) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Thunder Perfect Mind I is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. In When The May Rain Comes Folk - Various Artists is at his best. Put Rosy Star Tears From Heaven into car stereo for your highway driving All The Stars Are Dead Now is astounding. Best song on the album, love it. A Lament For My Suzanne is perfect. A Silence Song is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Mary Waits In Silence is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. This song stands out greatly from the others. A Song For Douglas After He’s Dead has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Folk - Various Artists’s strong vocals come to the fore. I was truly moved when I heard A Sadness Song. The Descent Of Long Satan And Babylon is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Thunder Perfect Mind have ended. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think A Beginning is my favorite song on Thunder Perfect Mind.
