On the Cyprus charts, superstar Folk - Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Folk - Various Artists’s album The Mirror Pool falls to No. 2 with 678,000, a sales slide of 73%. Since Folk - Various Artists last CD (The Mirror Pool) on EMI Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. I wish that “The Mirror Pool” album was instrumental.
La Bas (Song Of The Drowned) (Lisa Gerrard) one is one of the better boring ones. Only one song from The Mirror Pool named Persian Love Song (The Silver Gun) (Lisa Gerrard) really got me. Sanvean (i am your shadow) (Lisa Gerrard) have really caught my ear and imagination. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Mirror Pool. Ajhon (Lisa Gerrard) is worth the money. Glorafin (Lisa Gerrard) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Largo (Lisa Gerrard) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. I think Werd (Lisa Gerrard) is the best song Folk - Various Artists has ever done. Although Laurelei (Lisa Gerrard) is very melodic it is far from sad. Some call Celon (Lisa Gerrard) from The Mirror Pool as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Mirror Pool off to a relaxing start. Overall a nice softer song. Nilleshna (lisa garrard) is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Folk - Various Artists must have run out of lyrics on the next track Gloradin (Lisa Gerrard).
