Although Waxies Dargle / Rocky Road to Dublin is very melodic it is far from sad. A fantastic track full of wonder. Vocals of Folk - Various Artists in The Royal Irish Rangers and Ann-Marie O’Farrell / Sleivenamon really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. The Blarney Lads / Steal Away is pretty funky and mellow. Waxies Dargle / Finnegan’s Wake is a perfect, simple song by Folk - Various Artists at the top of his game. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Heritage of Ireland. The sound of Waxies Dargle / The Fields of Athenry is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Waxies Dargle / The Sally Gardens is just simply stunning. I loved Waxies Dargle with Geraghty & John / Dirty Old Town the first time I heard it. The Blarney Lads / Muirsheen Durkin is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. The Blarney Lads / Molly Malone is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Waxies Dargle / O’Carolan’s Concerto is a song to enjoy for years to come. The Blarney Lads / The Wild Rover is outstanding work of Folk - Various Artists. The Blarney Lads / Bold O’Donaghue as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Waxies Dargle / Whiskey in the Jar is amazing song though, very addictive.
