‘Hollowways’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. fourteen years ago, Fire and Ice briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Militia Templi”. While no new Fire and Ice album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in Africa. I Love Hollowways from start to finish!
The first time I listened to Militia Templi I was struck by its exquisite sound. Seeker - another great track from the Hollowways album. The Old Grey Widowmaker is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Fire and Ice emotions are reflected through Huldra’s Maze. The Rising Of The Moon is perfect work of Fire and Ice. Holy Vehm stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Ershebeth is simply cool. Fetter is pretty funky and mellow.
